Renewed Gratitude

Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Gracious Father, I have forgotten the immense love You have given me. Restore in me the meaning of this season and to have compassion to share this good news to those who are still living in hopelessness. Jesus is the hope of mankind! My messiah, my personal savior. To God be all the glory now and forevermore. Amen.

Be Hopeful

Abba Father, You called us to be the salt and the light of this world. May we always remember how Jesus sacrificed Himself for us, to be able to bridge the gap and to stand in awe of Your presence. Let our hope in You grow each day as we face life’s challenges and struggles. We know that nothing is impossible in You. And let this Christmas season be a season of hope knowing that it is He that lives in us is greater than he who is in the world.. Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Reason For This Season Is JESUS

¹¹ Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Heavenly Father, help us to focus on the real reason for this holiday season. It’s not about the gifts we get, or the gifts we give, it’s not even the food we prepare or the family reunions.  — It is all about Jesus Christ, Your Son, who came here on earth to save all sinners who believe in Him. May we always talk about Him and the sacrifice that He made for us.

Thank You Lord. Thank You for Your amazing grace and Your great mercy.  In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

A Christmas Prayer

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:14

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great compassion and love for mankind.  Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ – Messiah to live among us.  He was tortured and  was crucified to save mankind from eternal damnation.  He carried the weight of the sins of the world so that we can experience life after death.  Thank You O Lord for the way out of this miserable world, Jesus said ” I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  He came back to life after three days and totally defeated death.   He truly is our Redeemer and King.

May we remember the TRUE MEANING of Christmas by commemorating the significance and the magnitude of Your gift to us – the gift of Salvation through Christ Jesus and not just by buying new things, decorating the house, preparing an expensive and luxurious meal, giving gifts, or family gatherings.  May we eagerly share this feeling of freedom and salvation to the unreached.  This is how I want to celebrate Christmas.  I am eternally grateful to You Gracious Father.  I LOVE YOU.  Jesus is the reason for this season and in His Mighty and Powerful Name I pray.  Amen.
