18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for saving us from our sins and for giving us the fruits of the Holy Spirit -undying hope, great peace, and steadfast love through the blood of Jesus Christ.  May we boldly reachout to others who are in dire need of Your salvation.   ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few ‘as what Jesus said to his disciples.  Help us to spread the good news of the gospel and to share it anytime, anywhere and under any circumstances following the promptings of the Holy Spirit.  We are in a war, a spiritual war and our allegiance is with You.  Equip us to stand up for Christ every day and to fulfill His great commission.

Glory be unto Thee.  In the might name of Your Son Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen.

36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.  -John 8:36 New International Version (NIV)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus.  Your love is unfailing and it fills us with so much gratitude.  We yearn and want to know more of You and to grow in relationship with You.  Nothing in this world can give us that perfect peace. The peace that only comes from You.

Thank You for setting us free from the bondage of sin and death.  For giving us the way to redemption.  Jesus has conquered the grave!  And so he said “It is finished”. We pray for the abundance of hope for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted emotionally, physically and spiritually.  Those who are in chains or locked up in prison because of their faith in Jesus.  But one thing is for sure,  the stench of sin and shame has been washed by the blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ.  Praise be unto Thee. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Luke 2:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Heavenly Father, help us to focus on the real reason for this holiday season. It’s not about the gifts we get, or the gifts we give, it’s not even the food we prepare or the family reunions.  — It is all about Jesus Christ, Your Son, who came here on earth to save all sinners who believe in Him. May we always talk about Him and the sacrifice that He made for us.

Thank You Lord. Thank You for Your amazing grace and Your great mercy.  In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Father in Heaven, I get my strength from You.  Forgive me LORD for there are times when I worry about the future and the challenges that I may face.  I easily forget that You are always with me (Matt. 28:20); You hold me by my right hand (Psalm 73:23).  Even at the lowest point in my life, You have sustained me.  Thank you Abba Father for the hope that You have planted in my heart, the peace that surrounds me, and the love that overwhelms me each day.  In Jesus Name, I pray.  Amen.

1 Corinthians 11:3 (NIV)

But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man,[a] and the head of Christ is God.

Father in Heaven, thank you for the gift of marriage.  You have made my life complete by giving me a man who understands and loves me the way I am. I pray that my husband will always depend on You in every decision that he makes. May he always put You first in every aspect of his life, especially our marriage. Lord, I pray that he will learn to know you more and more each day as he faces triumphs, trials, and hardships.  Mold him to be the man that You planned him to be.  Give him the patience and the courage to lead our family, a family that honors You. All these I ask in Jesus Name. Amen.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 – KJV

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your unfailing love, for the renewed mercies each day, and for the countless blessings YOU have given me.  YOU alone are worthy of  praise, honor and glory.  YOU are my refuge and my strength, who carries me when I fall, who comforts me when I am down, and who wipes away all my tears in times of great sorrow.  YOU hold me by my right hand.

Dear GOD, YOU see my heart and know my thoughts.  Nothing is hidden from YOU.  I am grieving, my heart is not at peace. Life’s pressure seems so overwhelming. The challenges of life surrounds me and it feels like I am all  alone carrying these burdens.  Thank YOU for reminding me that my Redeemer and Lord Jesus Christ is always with me in happiness, in sorrow, and in pain. Thank YOU for the gift of peace.  I surrender my life to YOU.  All this I pray in Jesus mighty name. AMEN.
