18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for saving us from our sins and for giving us the fruits of the Holy Spirit -undying hope, great peace, and steadfast love through the blood of Jesus Christ.  May we boldly reachout to others who are in dire need of Your salvation.   ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few ‘as what Jesus said to his disciples.  Help us to spread the good news of the gospel and to share it anytime, anywhere and under any circumstances following the promptings of the Holy Spirit.  We are in a war, a spiritual war and our allegiance is with You.  Equip us to stand up for Christ every day and to fulfill His great commission.

Glory be unto Thee.  In the might name of Your Son Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen.

Be on Guard

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.- 1 Peter 5:8-9 (NIV)

Heavenly Father, we ask for physical strength to be able to pray unceasingly even when we are tired or weak and to be able to read the holy scriptures regularly to increase our knowledge of who You are.  We seek for spiritual strength to resist any temptation that surrounds us and to continue to walk by faith.  We can’t do any of these without Your guidance.

May we always be reminded that we are living in the end times.  LORD please guard our hearts and our minds from wandering away and let our focus be on Jesus Christ alone.  Thank You for Your unfailing love and the renewed mercies we receive each day.  In Jesus’ mighty name we pray.  Amen.

Freedom in Christ

36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.  -John 8:36 New International Version (NIV)

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus.  Your love is unfailing and it fills us with so much gratitude.  We yearn and want to know more of You and to grow in relationship with You.  Nothing in this world can give us that perfect peace. The peace that only comes from You.

Thank You for setting us free from the bondage of sin and death.  For giving us the way to redemption.  Jesus has conquered the grave!  And so he said “It is finished”. We pray for the abundance of hope for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted emotionally, physically and spiritually.  Those who are in chains or locked up in prison because of their faith in Jesus.  But one thing is for sure,  the stench of sin and shame has been washed by the blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ.  Praise be unto Thee. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Are You Saved?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Pray this prayer if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour yet and share this prayer to your dearly loved ones.

Dear GOD, I know that I am a sinner and no good works can save me. I confess my sins to You, please forgive me and heal my brokenness.  At this moment I trust Christ alone as the One who bore my sins when He died on the cross. I believe that He did everything for me to be able to stand in Your holy presence. I thank You that Christ was raised from the dead as a guarantee of my own resurrection. With all that I am, I put my trust to Him and submit to His authority. I am grateful that He has promised to receive me despite my many sins and failures. Abba Father, I take You at Your word. I thank You that I can face death now that I am saved. Thank you for the assurance that You will walk with me through the deep valley. Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus Name. Amen.

After praying this prayer,  join a Christian church to have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to be able to grow spiritually with fellow believers.  Welcome to the family of GOD!

“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”  – Luke 15:10

Keep Me Away From Vanity

30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

We are fearfully and wonderfully made by You dear LORD.  Help us to see the inner beauty that resides in us and not the outward appearance. May we appreciate the natural beauty You have given us.  In a world full of selfies and YOLO motto – corrupted and full of vanity, we set aside these desires and put You first in everything that we do. Forgive us. Forgive our rebellious heart. Forgive our selfishness and our pride. We ask You to cleanse our heart, and know our inner thoughts coz we want to come clean before You.

Lead us Heavenly Father to a life that pleases You and let the fruits of the Holy Spirit grow in us. Thank You for Your unfailing love. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Amen.

Be the Salt and the Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:13-16 New International Version (NIV)

Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for Jesus Christ. Thank YOU for the example He has given to us while He was here on earth.  How to glorify and to honor YOU with what we say, think, and do. On how we must live the life YOU have given us.  He showed us through the holy scriptures that our lives must be a living sacrifice consecrated and acceptable to YOU.

We pray dear LORD that let today be an opportunity for us to be the salt of the earth to influence people and to help them see what a privilege it is to live a life devoted to YOU.  Let Jesus’ light shine through us so that those who are still living in darkness may see this beautiful light.  Use us for YOUR glory.

In Jesus’ Name we pray.  Amen.

Luke 2:11 New International Version (NIV)

11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

Heavenly Father, help us to focus on the real reason for this holiday season. It’s not about the gifts we get, or the gifts we give, it’s not even the food we prepare or the family reunions.  — It is all about Jesus Christ, Your Son, who came here on earth to save all sinners who believe in Him. May we always talk about Him and the sacrifice that He made for us.

Thank You Lord. Thank You for Your amazing grace and Your great mercy.  In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
