Heavenly Father, Thank You for the gift of friendship. Thank You for my best Friend, Jesus, Your Son.
Help me to be a good friend, O LORD, to those friends I have in this life. Enable me to be thoughtful, trustworthy, a good listener, uplifting, truthful with kindness and tact, and most of all loyal to and prayerful for my friends everyday.
Show me anyone You would have me befriend, dear LORD. I thank You for every good relationship I have and have had. I ask that You send me more faithful friends, O LORD.
Those who can share my love for You, and to whom also I can be a loyal friend, for I ask this in Your gracious and holy Name, The Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior, and most precious Friend. Amen.
