Father in Heaven, I get my strength from You.  Forgive me LORD for there are times when I worry about the future and the challenges that I may face.  I easily forget that You are always with me (Matt. 28:20); You hold me by my right hand (Psalm 73:23).  Even at the lowest point in my life, You have sustained me.  Thank you Abba Father for the hope that You have planted in my heart, the peace that surrounds me, and the love that overwhelms me each day.  In Jesus Name, I pray.  Amen.

13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. -James 1:13-18 NIV

Heavenly Father, I ask for strength, strength to flee from any kind of temptation, away from the alluring things the world offers.  May I see every temptation as an opportunity to prove that the enemy is wrong, and that I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.  Thank you for giving me discernment to know what is good from evil, to know that if I give in to temptation, the satisfaction will only last a moment but the consequences will last lifetime. Thank you for your protection LORD. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. – 1 Corinthians 10:13

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
 -Psalm 68:5

Father in Heaven, thank You for being present in times of despair and loneliness. You comfort us when we feel down and hurt. Open our eyes that we may see how fortunate we are to have You as our Heavenly Father and our Provider. May we count our blessings one by one. Father God, I pray for those who have lost their husbands and fathers. May their suffering and pain bring them closer to You.

I pray for every widow around the world to rest and enjoy in Your presence, and not be persuaded to do things that will give disgrace to themselves and to You. And if You will, they be remarried to a person who will love them unconditionally just like how Jesus Christ loves us.

I pray for those children who have lost their parents and whose parents have willingly left them. Give them the courage and the will to continue living. Give them hope. May their hearts be filled with forgiveness and love. Thank you for being a father to the fatherless and defender to the widows. Your love overflows with grace and mercy. You never fail Lord.

Praises and honor be unto Thee, these things I pray in Jesus powerful name. Amen.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Heavenly Father, You have always been faithful and gracious to me. There are times when I depend on my own strength and get so exhausted on doing things on my own forgetting that I have a God who is the only source of all strength. Forgive me Lord for my shortcomings to You and may I always be obedient to Your will not mine. May I always trust in Your timing and not mine for You know what is best for me. I LOVE YOU. I long for Your tender mercy. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ my LORD and SAVIOR I pray. AMEN.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Merciful and Gracious Heavenly Father, You alone are my heart’s desire. Your love and compassion is incomparable. Whenever I am in need, You provide generously. Whenever I am in doubt, You clear my thoughts with wonderful promises according to Your word. Whenever I feel discouraged, You strengthen me. Whenever I am being attacked with false accusations, You bring out the truth right infront of the accuser. You have always been faithful even if I am not and I thank you Abba-Father.

Even if I can’t see the beautiful plan that You have for me, I trust in You. I consecrate my life to You. Cleanse me O God by the Blood of Jesus Christ so that I will be blameless on the Judgement Day.  I am eternally grateful for the gift of Salvation that You so freely give to those who believe. This I pray in the Mighty Name of my Saviour and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
